2023 Week 0 – USC 1-0

So, remember that USC-SJSU game I referenced in my last entry?  The game was played and to no one’s surprise, San Jose State lost in convincing fashion, as USC trounced the Spartans, 56-28.  I suppose the game was somewhat close early on, as the Trojans only led by 7 at halftime, 21-14.  At the end of it all, the Spartans would only put up 14 more points, which paled in comparison to the 35 that USC would add in the second half.  With the win, USC improves to 6-0 all-time against SJSU and starts the 2023 season at 1-0. 

Week 2 will bring the University of Nevada to The Coliseum.  2-0, here we come.  I don’t see Nevada putting up much resistance, if any, next week.  Still, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, and I’ll be modest/humble for once.  We’ll just have to see how that game plays out; I suppose.

Fight on, my fellow Trojans!  We are headed in the right direction.
