I’m done

So the job. It’s gone from not too bad to don’t love it to don’t like it to GET ME THE *&%^&*%^ OUT OF HERE!!!!

I HATE my job. I mean, I know I’m not going to love any job I have until I’m done with my degree, but seriously. This is getting ridiculous. I thought I was mostly clear with the temp agency about the type of work I was looking for, but I guess I didn’t shake them and yell "I don’t DO manual labor" or something.

I guess it’s technically an office job, but seriously, all that I do, all day, is pick up boxes full of paper, set boxes down, stand while filing, stand while doing just about everything else, and open mail. It’s pretty much a factory job without the factory. Now, I know there are plenty of people who do work a lot more physical than this and don’t complain, but I’m not one of them. I’m spoiled when it comes to work, because I’m good with computers, and quick, so I always get jobs where I’m mostly on the computer or the phone.

Then there’s my boss. She apparently likes me a lot (which I only know because she told the temp agency guy), but you would never know it from how she talks to me. She micro-manages everyone, to the point where we all feel like she’s our babysitter, and randomly flies off the handle for no reason, so we’re always on edge, worried that we’ll set her off.

So basically, I can’t work there anymore. I’m calling the temp agency tomorrow to ask if they have something else. If they don’t, then I’m just quitting. I always find work, so I’m not too worried. This job pays really well, but hubby agreed the extra money is definitely not worth my being in a bad mood all the time.

So I’m done.
