Very Short Update
This afternoon we went to see the doctor who operated in me. Only it turned out that he was not there and I got to see one of his residents.
- If I feel comfortable doing it, I can drive right now.
- before I see Dr. H. in a month, I have to be walking a mile with the cane. This is very doable.
- We got to see an X-ray of my hip with the metallic joint—very cool!
- I have a referral form for physical therapy. I am to take it to the PT place of my choice which is odd because I have never had to do it myself before!
Totally unrelated to the doctor visit, my job-of-the-day this morning was to strip the bed and remake it with clean sheets. I seem to do pretty well if I restrict myself to one job a day.

Remember now when you fly that you will set off metal detectors so you will need extra checkin time. They will wand you down and ask lots of terror Q’s. You can ask them teacher Q’s back. You will only know the answers I don’t think they are all that smart. enjoy the driving and have fun…dan
