Update*

Well, OD is being very flaky after a few days of being back to normal!

  • I have had another day of feeling good. It has a lot to do with how well I sleep.
  • I have an appointment to see a cardiologist on the 19th. This is to see if my heart is good enough for me to have surgery and stand a chance of surviving it. I don’t expect any problems here.
  • I am just hoping I can get this surgery done before Christmas. But if not, well, when it can be done is when it will be done. I am hoping for the best. I will deal with whatever happens when it happens.
  • Tomorrow I am going to lunch with Jake. I am looking forward to this.
  • I also have in mind laundry for tomorrow. The only difficult part of laundry is putting stuff away.
  • I also want to move a couple of things in the bedroom. But this can wait. in fact, thinking about it. i can probably get Jake to do it one day. The hardest part will be taking the "stuff" off the furniture and putting the "stuff" back when it has been moved!

Well, let’s hope this gets saved…

An emotion is only an emotion.

It’s just a small part of your whole being.

You are much more than your emotion.

An emotion comes, stays for a while, and goes away, just like a storm.

If you’re aware of that, you won’t be afraid of your emotions.

~Thich Nhat Hanh

If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment. — Marcus Aurelius

I think that I’m rather more like the “One Hoss Shay” (“Have you heard of the wonderful one-hoss shay, That was built in such a logical way It ran a hundred years to a day, And then of a sudden… It went to pieces all at once, – All at once, and nothing first, – Just as bubbles do when they burst”_

I hope this surgery is a lot less than what you are anticipating. I guess there’s no such thing as an easy surgery, though.

If only there wasn’t always “stuff” to move before anything else can be done, I might accomplish a lot more! :o) !! Where are you and Jake going for lunch? I looooooove lunch dates! hugs, Nicky

i hope your surgery takes place soon and you heal quickly. i envy you the chance to go to lunch with your son. i absolutely HATE putting away the laundry and i feel the same way about emptying the dishwasher. i’m putting off cleaning out the room where my freezer is cause of the mess that will result before i can get it finished. my entry saved the first time this morning. maybe od is back up andworking properly? take care,

Glad you had another good day! UGH! Moving things. I am trying to live in one room basically and it’s awful! BUT, this too shall pass. Especially since at this time I am planning on moving back to Alabama right after Christmas. Have to tell you that I am enjoying the electric mattress pad VERY much. This cold weather up here is HORRIBLE! LOL Hugs. M

Stuff sure complicates our life! LOL! I want to move my room size run into the kitchen but I don’t want to move all the ‘stuff’ on the furniture and then the furniture itself. So it stays where it’s at. I hope you get good news from the doctor!
