Two Things
First, because I am doing so well in this drawing class, I am finding I seem to be more confident about other things. I told Fred I would go up to the store to get coffee and then of course, we had to add things to the list so by the time I had got all these things and I got out of the store, it was beginning to be dusk. Now, I have always been neurotically certain that I will NOT drive in the dark so I have never gone out later in the evening if I have to drive. Since I had my cataracts removed and had implants and new glasses, I have been aware that if I really had to I could drive at night, but I have always been unwilling to try. This evening when I got out of the store, it was not dark, but it was definitely dusk. And I wasn’t a bit worried about it. I turned on my lights and I drove home!
The second thing is that I got email from my sister this evening. She is still doing chemo but she seems so much better. She even asked was I thinking about coming to see her and her husband this year. If she is up to it, I am coming… And she said something that indicated she was back to reading my diary again, too!
Now, I am off to watch my totally mindless Netflix movie "Red Dwarf : Series 1.
yes! and yes,yes!!!

My mother was born and raised in Prentiss County, MS and I was born there. My Language Arts teacher in Jr. High opened the world of literature to me!!! You did more than tame those lions – you opened their minds!

Isn’t it wonderful when you find you aren’t intimidated by something any longer? When we first moved back to Virginia, I had a hard time driving over some of the longer (2+ miles) bridges and tunnels. Now I think nothing of it and I don’t even remove my sunglasses!

Yeah for the drive home after dark. I need to try NetFlix I think. I cannot even imagine how great it is to have things delivered to the house instead of going out and looking. I love todays life.

ryn: yeah I almost was mugged by my two kitties when I got home. LOL! On pizza or in food they are great, however raw and on the hook, not too appetizing, to me anyway, but the stripers love it! *huggs*

Red Dwarf??!! I LOVE Red Dwarf!!! Our favorite episode is “Queeg” – first or second season, I don’t remember. Our cat Ace was named partly for Ace Rimmer.

Obviously I have to find out about Red Dwarf – I don’t have a clue what it is.
