Today

The problem with having no schedule is that nothing gets done.

A day or so ago, I lifted a heavy bag of bird seed with my right hand and now I have pulled a muscle AGAIN! Yes, it was the birdseed bag last time, too.

Ok, I have GOT to get banana bread made tomorrow because Fred brought a bunch of lovely barely-ripe bananas in today and you know the brown-spotted ones are not going to get eaten!

This muscle pain in my tight arm and the muscle that is around the bones that poke out of the back {scapular?} had me up at 3 am. I went back to bed at 6 am and slept until 10 am. When I got up at that time, I was absolutely RAVENOUS!. I am usually a little hungry when I get up around 7 am but it is a long time since my stomach has been so demanding!

I have been reading books one and two of Robin Hobbs’ Soldier Son trilogy. It is much odder, I think than her previous books but is holding my interest. I have read about three chapters of book three.

Ok, time to watch season three of "Farscape" on my computer since there is nothing at all that interests me on television

It’s funny that we don’t think of our hands as HAVING muscles, but when you do something to one of those teeny little things – it is AWFUL!!!

You’re so right about not having a schedule. I don’t have one and I get very little done. Sorry about your hand!

Close! Scapula (or ae for plural). 🙂 Hope it gets feeling better soon.

I have to have a schedule! It can be bad, too. I have real trouble being spontaneous!

Ouch on the hand! I hate it when I hurt my hands.

Wincing in sympathy. I tend to do the same annoying thing myself, mostly with hauling things up a flight of stairs.

I want to make some banana bread as well. 🙂 Hope your arm feels better… I hate pulling a muscle.

I agree. The more free time I have, the more I put things off until “later”.

Ouch! Feel better… and you obviously need to get your birdseed in a smaller bag.(huggles)

Yes, brown spots on a banana indicate to me that they’re totally past it. 🙂

I was told to put my bananas in the fridge and though the skins will continue to get spots and blacken, the inner stays the same. It works and I got use to eat cold bananas so much so, I now perfer them.

I like not having a schedule….but I will admit, I do like to get at least a few things done each day. (They don’t have to be BIG things, though! :o) !!) hugs, Nicky

I’m nursing a twisted thumb back to health; I can understand your plight! I just loved watching Farscape – more interesting characters than many of the sci-fi series on tv.
