Today

Today I will be going to get a chest X-ray just basically to put my mind at rest. But I woke up this morning after a great night’s sleep and feel very much better AND without the aid of Ativan! Apparently facing up to the fact that ignoring my symptoms was doing me no good and talking to the two doctors yesterday broke what the Shrink Who Answers his own Phone called the "cancer loop" in my mind.

Yesterday I took two tomatoes off the tomato in the pot and I used one on the cheese-and-tomato sandwich at lunch time. Even the little upside-down tomato has one cherry tomato almost ready to pick. It has more green ones and I hope they will get ripe before the end of summer.

I keep getting emails from the local college doing a countdown towards when classes start again but I am feeling little or no enthusiasm towards going back this coming semester. The verdict isn’t completely in on this and I will look at the schedule again, but unless something like "Painting with Acrylics" comes up as a morning class, I believe I will continue with my life of leisurely sloth for at least one semester more!
