Today
Today I went for a walk around the town. I turned on the IPod and walked for 40 minutes. I walked one of my regular routes but cutting out a bit of it on the way back.
After that, I had a couple of checks to cash at the bank. The branch we use is at the grocery store so Fred asked me to get some tomatoes, some celery and some salad greens. I planned on doing some other stuff after that but as I went to my car, I realized how tired I felt so I just went home again. I was thinking I would be able to go right back to my two walks a day as I used to, but at the moment, one vigorous walk exhausts me. I walked for much longer periods of time in Lucca but not at the speed I did this morning. Oh well, it will get easier as I continue doing it.
Tomorrow is the book club meeting. I brought back bookmarkers with pictures of Lucca for my book club friends. Now all I have to do is to find where I put them.

40 minutes brisk walking is a mighty long walk to start off with! I’m not surprised it tired you out… If you want to get back to your two-walks-a-day habit make them much shorter for now and ease back into it… (huggles)
