Today

I am very scattered lately. I am finding it difficult to concentrate on anything so I guess it is a good thing I am not in school, right?

Last night I was in the bedroom reading and watching television when Fred came down the hall to tell me his heart was out of atrial fibrillation and back to normal! I had heard him make a little noise just before that and the thought DID occur to me that that had happened.  I am SO glad that it finally corrected itself. He goes to see his primary doctor this afternoon.

We have company coming tomorrow  from Saturday to Monday and that will certainly keep my mind off the Tuesday surgery.

I called LensCrafters and was told my other glasses came back with a lens cracked! The new order has been put in but, as I told them, if the glasses are not here by Monday, it will be some considerable time before I will be able to get down there to get them!

Ok, I am off to get breakfast, clean floors and put clothes in the washing machine.

I’m so sorry about the cracked lens! How disappointing! Is there a friend or acquaintance that could get them for you, if they come in after your surgery? Enjoy your company!

OH company! J and I will soon have two houseguests of our own… for like a week (I think a week and a half all total). I’m sure that by the end of the visit we’ll be ready to have the house to ourselves again.

Wow, Saturday to Monday is a long time to have company! And it’s too bad your glasses had a cracked lens. I hope the new ones will be done on Monday! hugs, Weesprite

Well, that cracked lens sucks. Is that your looking-at-the-computer glasses? Will you still be able to write while recouperating? Can’t have you leaving us hanging, you know. LOL! But, as they say, everything happens for a reason, so maybe there’s a reason for the delay in getting your glasses. I read Fred’s entry yesterday and am so happy that his ticker is ticking properly again. That must bea load off your mind.

I’m glad company will keep you busy 🙂 I’ll be thinking of you

I think that you being ” scattered ” is due to the upcoming surgery. The company this weekend will acyually be good for you, keep your mind off of things. So glad that Freds heart is back to normal! HUgs, M

Oh, that stinks on the glasses. Any chance they can send them to you directly? Or do you need to have them fitted finally before you walk away with them?

RYN – Thank you! =-)

Good luck with the weekend company and I hope you get your glasses before Tuesday.

Nice quotation. I’ve been feeling rather scatter-brained myself.
