Today

Italian Phrase of the Day: Dove va? Where are you going?

My comment on this: Vado a fare una passeggiato. {I am going for a walk}

Actually, I have already been for a walk with Leslie, my walking buddy. Can you believe that the temperature here this morning was 51 degrees? When I saw this on the website, I promptly refreshed because I just didn’t believe it was that warm. But it is. And there is rain coming in.

Today’s List

  • get the new storage stuff into the bathroom and clean the bathroom– especially the  floor.
  • go for a second walk
  • move my car so that Fred can get his car out
  • work on numbers in Italian some more
  • decide if I am going to keep this box for my lists Right now, I think not…

QUOTATION FOR THIS MONTH: If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment. — Marcus Aurelius

I like the list box idea, and I love the quotation of the month idea too. I might have to be a copycat!

RYN: Yes it does, doesn’t it!!

The little boxes are great for asides. I find diarists use them for the little details that make them individuals. Saying that though, I don’t use those boxes myself.

I really like that quote.:)

I love the little box for your list…kind of cool.

There’s bridge over the water just before the Brayford Wharf here in Lincoln. On one side of it is inscribed “Where are you going?” on the other is “Where have you been?”

Isn’t it weird? Everyone I talk to across the country reports that the temps are way warmer than normal. Strange. But easy on the heating bill, huh? Love to you! ~M

I have been meaning to mention that the quotations are nice, and very appropriate for my house.

RYN/RMN: I like it a lot!

Sounds like you are doing very well with your Italian. When do you plan to go?

I really like the box! How do you do it? I think I would use them for my lists if I knew how to do them?
