Tiny Update

It is all the fault of Green Goddess.  She has a juke-box type thingy on her entries and one day it was playing "Toto Dies" written and sung by Nellie McKay. I thought, "Hmmm!" and played it again. Then there was "Ding Dong" the next time I went back… So today, two CDs of Nellie McKay arrived and I am playing "Get Away from Me" right now.

Changing the subject somewhat, I am actually getting tired of having nothing I have to do! So, now it is time to make a list and try to accomplish one thing every day.

I took my breakfast out onto the balcony this morning and nearly froze to death at 8 am. Now I have changed the  shorts for jeans  and I do have a light cover over the short sleeved shirt I am wearing. I am still, even after going-on eight years falling into the trap of thinking that when the sun is out here in Vermont, it is warm!

Massage tomorrow. It was postponed from last Sunday because I had vertigo…

I knew the “nothing to do” thing wouldn’t last long with you. We’re peas in a pod. Need structure and goals to feel like we’ve accomplished something instead of wasted time.

I hate having nothing to do. I need to line up everything and whatnot. Today when I went to the bank to get my money order for bills, I had it all out and hi-lited and color-coated and the lady at the Credit Union made fun of me (in a nice way) LOL.

I hope your day warmed up a bit! Here, I just remembered this week that overcast breezy days in Delaware do NOT mean it is cool! :oO !! We might not have anything but muggy from now ’til mid September! ryn: ya know, I never realized that people might also plant honeysuckle! Here it just grows wild everywhere! hugs, Weesprite

I’ll trade ya some of this heat and humidity for your cool. LOL Like Woodsprite, Honeysuckle grows all over the place here too. I love the smell of it though. Hugs, M

Tricky Vermont weather. Always go for the layered look, right? RYN on rabbits – Hero had rabbits as a child and one day the bunny went AWOL. Turns out he became the neighbor’s dinner. Rabbit stew is still very popular in my area, but this rabbit (or two) would be raised as a pet. I’m not very excited about the prospect, but the dog and cat are on their way out and I figure we should bring in a fresh pet now.

Happy Mother’s Day to you, too!

By the way, have you worked with PhotoShop? Is it significantly better than Paintshop Pro? We have it at school.
