This & That
- Today I washed and dried clothes and put them away. I feel strange writing that because machines washed and dried them and Fred put his own clothes away!
- I went out to water the flowers and my tomato and there are five little green tomatoes there!
- My Bamboo pad was on the porch when I went out so I guess the mailman knocked and no one heard him. I am glad I found it before the rains came.
- It is bound to rain because I gave the flowers and my tomato plant a good soaking…
- Talking about Wacom pads, I got email back from the man who was first on the Freecycle replies list and he wondered if I could deliver my old pad to him at his place of business… Ummm, NO way! If you want it, and remember it is FREE, you will have to pick it up. I sent him my address {again}, asked him to tell me which day and time {morning, afternoon or evening} he would be there {yet again} and that it would be out on the back porch for him. If I don’t hear from him in a day or so, it is on to number 2 on the list of 9 I have lined up…
- I love sitting in an air-conditioned room reading from a Kindle

Well, in a very admired management style you caused the clothes to be washed, dried and put away.

With this hazy, hot, humid weather I do wish I had AC

It’s free plus he wanted you to deliver it…. at today’s gas prices? Cheeky.

Huh? He wants you to deliver the pad to his business? Maybe he could get someone at his business to pick it up. Not your problem, is it?

Well, if he was disabled or something, I might deliver it, but otherwise, no. Odd request. Congrats on the baby tomatoes. I wonder if I have any, now that you mention it….

That’s ridiculous when the item is free. Even if he is disabled, I’m quite sure that he could send a neighbor, employee, or co-worker over to pick it up for him. I always loved discovering the tomatoes as they showed themselves for the first time on my plants. I didn’t grow any this year and I’m already sorry!

Two questions – When do you read a book and when do do you use your KINDLE? You buy the coolest gadgets and toys. I’m Jealous!!!!!!!

RYN: I LOVE YOUR ANSWER! I really think that no woman should ever be afraid to tell the year in which she was born. For most of us every year marks an anniversary of either survival or having learned something from what we survived and being all the better for it.
