This Morning
- The "hot" water is warmer this morning but not hot.
The landlord told Fred last night that he would get in touch with the gas people this morning… - The day before yesterday, I put one bird feeder out. This morning I saw two black-capped chickadees darting in, taking a mouthful and darting away. They are interesting to watch. They perch on the remains of the sunflowers in the landlord’s garden.
- I got all uptight and irritated about having to stay in another day because of the gas people. Today I realized that it is only Thursday and that leaves me another day to go look at treadmills
- No, I don’t go battle crowds at stores on weekends. Would you, if you didn’t have to? In fact when I first retired, I LOVED going out to the mall on a weekday. Plenty of parking and few people!
- It is raining intermittently this morning. I think I may go out between showers and continue putting up stuff on the deck. I need to stack all the chairs and put another bird feeder out…
- I was so pleased that Leeann won Project Runway last night. She was the only one of the three women finalists who didn’t cry!

I prefer the mall (or ANY store) on a quiet weekday, too! I have been hearing chicadees in our woods lately. I’ll be glad when the leaves fall, so I can start filling my birdfeeders again! hugs, Weesprite

I love shopping in non-crowds, which is why I do my errands at 6:30 on Saturday morning. I’m back safely at home before the crazy people get up!

I liked all three of the collections on PR last night. The quality was really high this time through, and Leeanne’s clothing was beautiful. and I loved how Kenley did all of the painting on the clothing by hand. Top Chef is coming back in November which is pretty neat. I like mall shopping on the weekdays too, much more sane and not so maddening.

RYN: Did I know that you were a SCAdian?? I did that in a former life but there isn’t a terribly active group in my area plus I’m so busy I just can’t cram anything more in to my schedule. Nothing better than a comfy chemise on a nice hot day!

I love the mall on a weekday. That’s usually where I go walk & eat lunch with my friend Mary on her lunch break. Anytime school is out for anything, we go nuts because “our mall” is too crowded. LOL.

Weekday nights are the best times to go shopping! I hate shopping at weekend, but it’s the only time I (and most everyone else!) have available.
