This is a title</B?

So, right now, this minute, I am supposed to be at physical therapy but I called in a few minutes ago and said I didn’t feel well. I am not ill, just a mutinously muttering digestive system and a little discomfort but I really didn’t feel like physical therapy that pops sweat out on my forehead and that is what happens when Leslie gets me to lift the left leg against gravity! Actually, I tried it a bit myself and I can get it up about four inches maybe three times! I know I am doing the right thing by not going because my gut feeling was a feeling of great relief and over the years, I have learned to trust my gut feeling.

Fred is still sleeping and when he gets up, he is going to give blood to have his blood-sugar level checked since he has a routine appointment sometime this week, I think, to see his kidney doctor . or it may be his regular doctor.     All I know is that when he gets up, he is going in fasting {no coffee!} to give blood. I have an appointment on Thursday with the surgeon who operated on my hip. I know he is going to ask am I walking a mile yet? And the answer is is, yes, I am. And even on some days, a mile-and-a-bit!

Today I must finish reading On the Black Hill by Bruce Chatwin because it is the book club meeting tomorrow and that is what we are reading this month. I have read about a third of it and so far like it although it is not a book I will keep. When I come back from Italy, I will box up my book club books and offer them on Freecycle. They will go quickly. Books and seasonable clothes always do.

Ok, until my innards settle down somewhat, I guess I will postpone the walk I had planned and I will read the book club book in close proximity to the bathroom!

Hope you feel better soon!

Did they have the discussion on The Secret yet? For some reason, I thought that was going to be the next book. What’s this one about? Probably a good idea to stay home when you have a “rumbly in your tumbly.” Hope you feel better quick!

That’s not good about the unsettled system. But then I have that problem now and then too, and I postpone all I can to be close to the….. ladies room. 🙂 I hope it settles down soon.

Hoping for a quick recovery on your part! How does Fred make it to the doctor without the coffee? I can’t start the day without it.

Oh I feel for you. I well know those feeling of tummy trouble! Hugs, M

I hope you’re feeling back on your game soon.

I finally signed up for freecycle. A good program.

Thanks for the welcome note on the SKOAC diary 🙂 I think it’s fine to take a day off when your gut tells you to. I need to check out Freecycle. I’ve heard about it, but haven’t been to the site. I have a serious book addiction, so it sounds like a good place to go. Not to mention tons of things I need to get rid of. Hope your stomach feels better.

How nice of your innards to arrange for guilt-free time to read the book club book without PT torture first!

RYN: It is. That is my most AMAZING class, with the possible exception of Theater for Youth, which is awesome for different reasons. Pretty Poison~

WONDERFUL suggestions! He kept spelling it “deasert” and I told him there was no “a” because the “a” is in water and not in the desert. That helped, and then he wanted to spell it desrt. LOL!

RYN: I think it’s a very good thing to be cautious of who you buy from overseas, especially over eBay or the internet. It’s not like you can go knock on their door and say, “Excuse me, this is not what I ordered” or “you robbed me!” I buy a lot of beads on eBay for my business and have purchased them from sellers all over the world. The Chinese seem to have the best prices for a lot of things – I’ll just take it as a lesson learned to inquire
