The Desk! {one picture}

Ok, here is the desk Fred put together in all its glory! I notice also it is a pretty good picture of the fan! I also notice that my red wallet is on the top of the desk instead of in my purse where it belongs, so when you hear me running around screaming that I have lost it, please remind me where I left it! Behind the fan you can see a bit of the print rack which actually has paper and pictures in it but all this will get sorted out eventually. And of course, there is my computer. I actually didn’t notice the fan was there until I saw the picture and that is what happened in all the pictures I took last night. I didn’t realize until I saw the photographs how disorganized the shelves by the door and the bookcase behind me actually are until I see them through the eyes of a camera! So, there will be major reorganization going on in the future. But not today because today is devoted to laundry and the cleaning of the dining room.

Incidentally, I didn’t realize how annoying it is to not know whether there are pix or not in an entry until I had the very slow DSL. Those of you who indicated pictures in their title had my thanks although I didn’t read you at all when we were using  the DSL-that-felt-like-dial-up!  So, I have learned to indicate there are pictures..

Ok, back to work! More later in the next break.

Until later….

I like your desk! When I get one, I will hopefully also be getting a desktop computer. I want to have one to use as my main form of storage, and then just use the laptop for trips and whatnot. I think J could probably build me something pretty cool if he doesn’t already have something that’s nifty 🙂 I might actually buy a couple bookshelves this weekend. I’m getting sick of the clutter.

Great desk!

Have fun with your new desk. i think it is great to have a place where you can keep your books and other stuff. Good luck with your Italian. Planning to go to Italy one day?

I need to get in the habit of stating there are pictures in an entry. I think I do it about half the time.

I like to know when their are photos in an entry too in case I am using a computer that loads slowly. Any other time, I love photo entries and gravitate toward them as the first entries that I read.

a great desk!

I think (although I haven’t tried it) that when a page with photos is loading and taking its sweet time that you can click the “stop” button on the browser and it will stop loading the pics so that you can at least read the text.

Love the desk!!

That really is a great desk! Go Fred! Go Fred! *S* Talking about seeing things through the eye of the camera is kind of like pictures of yourself… Only we see our flaws! No one else really notices them! I didn’t even see the fan at all until I read you talking about it! LOL

Yaaaaaaaaaay for the new desk….and I, personally, am always happy to see that other people besides just us have clutter, etc.! I think we shall NEVER get to have DSL, where we live. So sometimes I have to wait so long for photos to come in, that I give up on it. Usually they load up by the time I’m done reading the person’s entry, though. What I can’t take time for, is photo entries that do nothave any text for me to read while I wait on the photos to come in. Here’s wishing you and Fred a lovely weekend! hugs, Weesprite
