I was thinking about the issue of #14 today while I considered asking the doc for something. There is one thing in my life that gives me joy and it requires dedication and inspiration to do. I had been wondering if my spark wouldn’t be affected also. Interesting that you mention it.

Making bread without a machine is fun….but I still think I will get a bread machine SOMEday. (I keep saying I will!!) Morning is my highest activity level time too. And I agree with you about anti-depressants. I was concerned that I might not experience as much from the rituals I take part in, if I was on medication. But I seem to…. if not, I’d have to decide what to do, because I would neverwant to just feel numb. hugs, Weesprite

I wish I were closer. I can teach you how to make bread without a machine. When my kids were little I made bread once a week, six loaves at a time. It’s something my Mom did, and she passed it on. I’d be happy to give you the recipe if you’d like it, and write everything down that I can think of… It takes quite a bit of time, but you can do other things in between steps. Let me know. Loveto you! ~M

My mom made 10 loaves twice a week (7 hungry kids). I’d rather use the machine. 🙂

Funny about the bread – I’ve felt guilty for years that I don’t use the bread making machine that my daughter gave me. I used to bake six loaves of bread every week. It isn’t difficult but the kneading is work intensive. I learned to make bread from a recipe that a Scottish woman in our old apartment building gave me. It uses honey.

i’m surprised you and fred don’t have a cat. you could probably go to the humane society and get an older inside cat that would love to lapsit! that’s what i plan to do when maynard is gone. will get a couple about 3 or 4 years old… no more kittens for me. then, raymond and i can have our own cat again. take care,
