Sunday

I was up at 3 am this morning with nasty intestinal cramps and many many trips to the bathroom. At times the cramps were so bad I broke out into a cold sweat. At 6 am it all seemed to be over and  I went back in bed and slept until 11 am. But I have spent most of the day on the bed dozing or reading a rather bad book {Brimstone by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childs} and checking on the state of my intestines which still feel a bit queasy. I had some chicken pot pie and salad at 5 pm and, so far everything seems to be staying where it should be…

Since I have done nothing today, I have several things to do tomorrow.

  • Two walks. {Fred went out for a short walk up and down the street today!}
  • Laundry
  • Wash dishes for two days. {I have done nothing today.}
  • Make a loaf of bread
  • Skim over the book club book {Brick Lane by Monica Ali } for the book club meeting tomorrow.
  • Make up some parts-of-speech practice work sheets for Robin before the tutoring meeting on Tuesday.

Until later…

Oh dear. That is such a miserable place to be. I’ve learned that ginger tea is wonderful for calming the ‘lower decks’. Get feeling better soon!

I am just recovering from a whole night of the flu coming from both ends. Boy does that stink. I hope I don’t have that for a while again. YUCK

I’ve had these too, quite often. And yes, that breaking out in cold sweat is scary. I’m glad you’re not having that going on anymore!

Life is too short to bother reading books you don’t like, when you don’t have to. I hope you feel better now, Patricia. Did you take your Ammodium D?
