  • I have packed up the old modem {which, incidentally, is exactly the same as the new modem}
  • I will take it to UPS while I am out this morning and get it sent back to Verizon.
  • I have the pre-op medical exam at 11 am. I am wondering what is going to be checked since I already gave blood and peed in a cup when my blood was collected in case I need it.
  • I need to remember to ask my doctor for prescriptions for three months so I will have necessary drugs for when I go to Italy. {Pause to write this on a sheet of paper}
  • I MAY go by the medical supply store and get crutches, etc. I just noticed that the script can be refilled four times! That is weird!
  • I have an art assignment from my future daughter-in law! Actually, she asked me very nicely if I would do a pastel painting of her lovely dog and I said yes because I have never done a pet before. And, it will keep my mind off the upcoming surgery. I have got as far as downloading and cropping the pix she sent. Some time today, I will print them out and possibly try sketches. This may be an awful flop but it will be an interesting flop!
  • I just remembered that my instructor said she got many more requests for  pastel paintings of pets than she does of people. {She is a professional portraitist.}
  • I need to go out to my car and bring in the CD holder so I can change CDs.
  • It really irritates me when I have text messages to my phone turned off and my provider {Virgin} texts me about downloading games!
  • Sitting here typing, I have just put my phone, my CD holder.,the extra address sticker for Verizon, my paper with the list and my driving-the-car glasses  on my lap so I won’t forget anything!

How strange about the crutches! You certainly won’t go throught four or five pairs of them. I wonder if a walker would come in handy if your underarms get tired from the crutches.

Pets are so much cuter in portraits then we are. 🙂

I don’t think it’ll be a flop 🙂 I think it’ll just be a challenging and interesting occurrence 🙂

Maybe the stript renewal is because you have to renew the rental, like a library book. Otherwise, I’d guess he just wrote that on there out of habit. The doggy portrait sounds like a wonderful diversion, and also something you could work on while you recouperate.

I called T-Mobile to complain about test messages, and they said there’s nothing I can do about them. They did, however, give me 50 free texts. Grrrrr……

Don’t forget to take everything off your lap before you stand up! 🙂 – – – –

I wonder if the crutches are a rental item? Then a “refill” would make sense.

I saw the note from pb_reader. Um, when I had my leg broken (very broken) they gave me a frame first because it helped me get my balance and the circulation flowing and everything. I also remember that when they took bone grafts from my hip for said leg, I couldn’t managed crutches but needed a frame in the first days. Would they not give you that automatically in the hospital though? I know we had to get my crutches form elsewhere but the frame they lent me in the hospital whilst I was there (and I didn’t need it afterwards). Gosh, thoughts of younger days and gratitude to Sean who got me my crutches and took such good care of me. I think the pastel is a great idea. will you take your pastels to Italy? Can see you soaking up the sun and capturing the culture in your drawings.

Maybe the doctor thinks you’ll misplace your crutches a lot! That’s strange.

Maybe the they go over what is going to be happening in the surgery procedure? That would be cool.

I wish I could paint/draw.
