Still Later in the Day

This is getting out of hand. I have posted three times today already!

After we got home today, my partner thanked me for arranging this picnic and getting him “out of himself” as he put it.

Tomorrow is “snake day” at the library and my boss who is snake phobic is removing herself and leaving me to deal with all the kids who are coming to see the snakes… and then on Friday I am covering the desk while she does story hour. Even though I only work one day a week officially, I seem to do a lot of part-time stuff “I’m just a girl who can’t say no…” It was the same when I was doing substitute teaching after I retired. Principals pretty soon learned that if they called me at least a week before, I always said yes to subbing…

I have just finished chocolate cake with vanilla icecream and all the Brazil nuts that my partner picked out of his can of nuts.
