Still later in Friday

Fred’s friend Bill came this evening and he talks and talks and talks. He had told Fred he needed to be in Burlington by 7:30. It is now 8:15 and he just left. I think the only reason he left was that Fred was on the phone with my brother-in-law from England calling to wish him all the best. Bill is  is a good guy but he exhausts me and his voice is so loud I have a headache.

I have this absolute horror of being a stereotypical old lady smelling of urine and with food stains all down my front. Well, the smelling-of-urine bit is well under control but I have spilled coffee on one sweater and two pairs of jeans so far this week and just now I dribbled chocolate from a fudge stick down the front of the beige sweater I am wearing! Sheesh! Fortunately it is a cotton sweater and will wash easily so tonight I will put it in my laundry bag along with today’s panties and socks. And it will all be washed on Monday thanks to my wonderful landlords who allow me to use their machines and hot water on that day every week.

We are under a winter storm warning here. It is raining outside and the temperature is 34 and dropping. Ice and snow tomorrow, I guess. Snow I can deal with but ice is frightening. I guess tomorrow I will dig out my Stabilicers {http://www.stabilicers.com/} and the boots I wear them on. We learned about these from our mailwoman who wears them pretty well all winter.

After I have watched a few episodes of StarGate: SG1 I am going to take a Klonopin and sleep all night.

Until later…

Patricia, I’ve just read the last six entries. I’ve been offline – dsl being out, so I won’t note each one. Sorry about the sleep problems.

OMG, I’m still in my 50s and I’m already doing the thing with spilling food down my front. What’s up with that?

Oh, I’m sloppy, too. I’m glad I discovered Spray and Wash.

I cant wait to get my stabilicers!

Lol! We need to get you one of those bibs with a pouch on the front to catch the crumbs! hee hee hee…

Well, I don’t smell of urine (I HOPE!!), but I always spill or otherwise get stuff on myself. And I’m only 46. Maybe we should wear bibs?? I hope you get a good sleep after the evening of company! Weesprite

Age isn’t a factor in spilling food. I’m dreadfully clumsy with food. Not just my clothes but the floor too. Cleaning egg off the kitchen carpet (not my idea to have a kitchen carpet) is no fun! 🙂

uhhhh, winter storm warnings. LOVE them 🙂 And I can understand that feeling of thinking you smell like something or look like something. But I am pretty sure you’re a good clean lady 😉

What a great product! Now if they could just invent something to keep you from slipping on wet, fallen autumn leaves!

It’s so nice that you and your landlord/lady have such a nice laundry relationship.

Ever notice how some clothes just attract the slops? I have a grey sweatshirt that has food stains on it within an hour of my getting up.
