Some Comments on Music & Stuff
- How come it has taken me so long to find Adele? I downloaded her album "21" this afternoon. I knew I loved "Rolling in the Deep" and now I am adding "Love Song" to the this-is-wonderful list! Oh! And "Rumor Has It." I am now listening to "Why Don’t You Remember" which is OK but not amazing.
- I got the result of the boob-squish test and all is well.
- I got some backgrounds painted today and now I have to decide what I am going to do with them. I know it is annoying to talk about painting and not take pictures.
- Today we have had problems with Google dropping our connection. Actually it is more probably our provider, Fair Point. Anyway, who or what ever is doing it appears to have all their ducks in a row for the last hour…
- Chorus practice tomorrow. I missed last week because my eyes were dilated from the visit to the ophthalmologist and I looked like a drug addict
I am grateful for:
- the fact that there has been sunshine outside today. It is still cold but I have a hope that spring will eventually come.
- the fact that we will be able to park our cars on the street after the 15th of this month. It is not so much that I actually WANT to park on the street but that the fact that I can means that there will hopefully be NO MORE SNOW!
- music. I am listening to "The Boy in the Bubble. " Paul Simon…

Don’t know what it’s like in your neck of the woods, but we’ll keep getting snow till mid-april, but it melts off pretty fast, so we don’t worry about snow plows.

We had sunshine today as well – yay! ‘appears to have all their ducks in a row for the last hour’ – I’ve never heard that expression before lol!

It’s sunny here too and 50 degrees. Our snow is all gone now. But I think we are supposed to get more later.

I actually enjoy hearing about your painting even when you don’t post pictures. Some people rely too much on pictures and don’t use enough words, I think. :o) !! (But of course, you probably have noticed, I am a “word person”!) hugs, Nicky

I am not sure a search engine like Google can drop your connection. I think it can only be your provider. Glad it’s working better now!

The sun shining off the snow is so blinding this time of year. I’ll be glad when it’s all gone as well.

I agree with Nicki Woodsprite. Pictures are great, but words are fine. More than fine. I enjoy your descriptions.

I was scrolling through my twitter the other day, and saw that your part of the world had the snowiest winter on record.

We don’t expect the pictures until you’ve finished the paintings. 🙂 Then we’ll be more demanding about it. LOL

I love Adele. You might also want to check Sia out. She’s an Aussie and sings some really good jazz… Loves to you! ~M

Glad you got a good report from your mammogram. It’s always a relief to know things are OK… I’ve got to check out Adele…don’t think I’ve ever heard of her before.
