Short Items before Class

I THINK today is evaluation day in class. She does individual conferences while we work on something else. {I think the schedule says we will be working on plans for our first oral report. I am thinking about doing mine on Lucca.} I will be very interested to see where la prof thinks I am. *I* think I am proceeding slowly but surely. I would like to learn more quickly but if this is the speed I am learning, well, so be it. At least I am learning.

I WAS waiting for the Schwann man to deliver our frozen food but then I remembered that today is TUESDAY and he delivers on Thursday! That is probably why he isn’t here ! He is actually very good in getting here by 10 am since I told him I leave the house at 10:30.

I have mislaid my Viva Voce book. I hope we don’t need it in class this morning. I can share a book with Jessica. Goodness knows, she has shared my book often enough!

Ok, since I do not have to wait for a the frozen food delivery, I am going to leave early, go to Barnes and Nobles and read the paper while I drink hot chocolate. Soon the hot chocolate season will be over. Well, I am assuming B&N will still sell it but I only drink it in cold weather,

The snow has almost all melted from our deck. It is slushy outside and smells like spring…

QUOTATIONS FOR THIS MONTH: "There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so."

Hamlet 2.2.255-256

“Every life form seems to strive to its maximum except human beings. How tall will a tree grow? As tall as it possibly can. Human beings, on the other hand, have been given the dignity of choice. You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?” Jim Rohn (motivational speaker/philosopher)

Hopefully the last of the snow will melt today AND WE DON’T GET ANTMORE. Then the clean up begins as soon as the ground dries somewhat. 🙂 – – – –

Hmm, sounds like the season between winter and spring is upon you – Mud, the fifth season in Vermont, from what I remember.
