Saturday Early
Ok, I am sitting here writing this instead of doing what I know needs to be done–like, for example, going for a walk! But I will. I assure you. The temperature is 41 and “feels like 41” and the sun is shining so that makes it good walking weather. It has been really nice here lately and we have had the heater in the house turned off. However, I turned it back on this morning since the thermometer said it was in the middle 60’s here in the living room.
I have washed the dishes already this morning and I cannot find Fred’s big coffee cup. We only drink one cup a day but it is a big cup, actually a two-cup cup–if that makes any sense. I have a blue cup and he has a green one and I usually set his out by the coffee machine so he can get his coffee in the morning when he gets up. Well, there is no sign of it this morning. Maybe when he gets up he will know where it is…{He got up and located it in the living room!}
Last night I got the munchies for nuts and the nuts I ate were walnuts. I really enjoyed them at the time, but this morning my intestines are mentioning to me that those nuts were NOT a good choice for someone who can only tolerate a small amount of nuts at a time. Time to get the Immodium-D I believe! I have very few side effects remaining from the radiation directed at my pelvic area in 2000 but this problem is one of them. {The other is that I am mildly pleased when I am constipated! LOL}
Things I need to do:
- Clean my junk off the table
- Go for a walk {which I will probably do before I clean off the junk}
- Make a loaf of white bread. We have got cheese bread and onion bread left but not much.
- Order myself a cardboard portfolio on line to store my art. I don’t want to get something very expensive because I don’t know yet if I will be going on with this, but I can’t spend the next six weeks stashing my stuff on the table!
- Start cleaning up the balcony. I have stopped feeding the birds but they are messy eaters and there are a lot of seeds and seed hulls out there. Before I put the flower boxes out {middle of May} that stuff must be gone.
Until later..
*huggs* mmm coffee! my list of things? to keep my sick booty in bed the whole weekend, we will see if that really happens!

Fred made your sketchings sound really nice. It’s fun to do something that makes you feel creative. I hope you have a lovely walk. I have to go to the post office and pay for my OD subscription. I think I will come home and walk Miss Brina who keeps looking at me sadly. I really enjoy reading Fred, I hope that he likes it here. Have a wonderful day!

ryn: I am exaggerating. The dog is trained. What’s the difference between training him his way and putting a shock collar?

Now I’m picturing the various temperature zones in the U.S. and thinking how far north you are, because I should have started my seeds on March 1 and set them out already.

Thank you so much for noting me, I’m very pleased to make your acquaintance! My mother’s family is all from Vermont, so I have a special affection for the place. 🙂 I have a plaque somewhere that reads, “If you say your prayers, eat all your vegetables, and live a good life, when you die, you’ll go to Vermont.” 🙂

Actually, My Mom will be up in VT on Sunday & Monday – wish I was going along, but not this time. 🙂
