Saturday
Last night the phone rang, and as usual, I let the machine pick it up. It was a reminder that I have an appointment with the same doctor I saw last time when I was convinced I had cancer! Well, of course, as regular readers know, I am at times inclined to do that since I have had cancer twice! Anyway, this nice young lady told me to make an appointment to see her after I had taken the prescription for acid reflux for a while and Tuesday is the day. Since I have been thinking about making an appointment because of my lack of energy, I will bring this up at this meeting. {She is going to think I am a real hypochondriac!}
Today I went for a massage and I didn’t realize how tense I was until Beth started on my shoulders. It was quite painful for a while.
Today I also found out that my cell phone was dead. Well, not totally dead but needed charging. I am really annoyed with myself since I only carry it in case there is an emergency and if there had been one, it was no use to me. I was going to call Fred and ask him if he wanted me to go to the drug store while I was out and get his refilled prescriptions and this is how I learned of the temporary demise of the phone. I will make more effort to plug it in a timely manner. I hang my purse on the outside door handle of this room and since the phone is in a little hanging bag attached to the strap of my purse, it is easy to plug in the phone while I am not using the purse.
Until later…

I’m awful with my cellphone. I will forget it and leave it at home, I have been known to hear it ring and not realize it’s mine, and yes, forgotten to charge it. I don’t use it enough to think about it that much. Good luck at your doctor’s appointment!

I figure that since I’m paying for it anyway, I might as well use it. I used to be really stingy with my pre-paid minutes, for fear of “wasting” them. Now that I’ve saved up 2200 minutes, I wonder what good they are if I don’t use them! But it helps if I remember to charge the dang thing.

The drugs used to treat GERD are called Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs). Fatigue and/or weakness can be rare (but possible) side-effects.

I would definately talk to your dr. about the fatigue. It could be drug related or it could be somehthing else. I am always tired but I am on a lot of pills that have that as a side effect. And, with most of them there’s nothing else I can change to. It just means a lot of naps for me. LOL Hugs, M

I got such a painful back-of-head/neck-ache at work a few days ago that Joe had to massage me when I got home, and that was VERY painful! For me this stuff only seems to come along at “time of the month” time. I only use my cell phone occasionally also, and so I sometimes don’t notice it needs charging! On the other hand, Joe is often having to recharge his, and then he sometimes forgets to take it off the charger and take it with him when he goes out! hugs, Weesprite

I have to put my phone on the keyboard. I use the computer daily so anything I want to remember I put on it. Then I get reminded to attend to this other item. So far it is working. If I could only get my fat butt on the keyboard and attend to exercising it on a daily basis!!!hahahha be well my friend….dan
