Random Thoughts

I just feel the urge to write although I am not really sure what that is about since I really seem to have nothing much on my mind. When I have finished here and washed the dishes, I need to set up a drawing board with paper for myself. When I was ill, the thought of doing anything related to art — like cleaning up and organizing the supplies, for example –seemed a daunting task. Now it just seems a big but doable job. I have a box of supplies I haven’t opened yet because in my mind that was going to be my reward for starting a new painting…

Fred was saying last night that his cold seems to be back. What *I* think is that his hadn’t really gone and this is just the tail end of his. I am doing a bit of sniffling, sneezing and noseblowing but it is my usual early morning routine not the awful stuff that was happening a couple of weeks ago. This is one of the few mornings lately that I have not woken up starving so this might be the day to go to the doctor’s to get the fasting blood test I am supposed to get some time before July.

Today is Friday. I have to tell myself this because yesterday I was convinced it was Friday as of course, on Wednesday I just knew it was Thursday! Last night I was quite disappointed that there were no StarGate SG! reruns on tv.  Since I have very little structure in my week, it is easy to lose track of the day of the week. Hmmm, it has just occurred to me that if I DO manage to sign up for Italian, I will have to change my laundry day since the class is on the same day as my laundry day. I could probably do both, but the class is early in the morning and that is my best energy time, I don’t see having to come home from class and do laundry… Besides, I am one of those obnoxious people who pretty well always does her homework immediately!

To be done today:

• a walk. It would be more truthful to say a stroll. I hate it that I can’t walk above a stroll and even then, the damned hip hurts and I am limping…
• dishes
• clean up art stuff {Hmmm, I need to be more specific}
• continue reading my book {book 2 of the Liveship series by Robin Hobbs} I am really enjoying this series. The story is interesting and the characters are believable. It is one of the books I am reading slowly because I don’t want it to end. And, I have book 3 to read, too!
• fasting blood test? Hmmm, maybe not today because I am feeling quite hungry!
