Not Much Happening Here
I am sneezing and coughing and stuffed up. However, I don’t feel ill. In a few minutes I am going to get some of the magic pills that dry up cold symptoms and wash them down with orange juice, the magic potion that cures all ills! {Or so I had my kids convinced anyway.}
I am here in the bedroom writing this on my laptop and watching the season’s premieres of “Stargate SG1” and “Stargate Atlantis.” I can’t get interested in Atlantis due primarily the the fact that it doesn’t have Richard Dean Anderson in it! That is a good-looking man who gets better as he gets older. I caught a glimpse of an advert that was touting MacGyver on DVD. and am thinking seriously of getting it! Well, semi-seriously anyway… {In case you don’t know, in his younger days, Richard Dean Anderson was the hero of that series and he was equally good looking back then, too.}
I have not walked at all today except for a brief trip to the library to sign the paperwork for the school reading program. Actually, I would say that Fred has probably done more exercise today than I have. Good job I have got this “I can start over tomorrow” attitude. It is going to get up to a warm and toasty 20 degree high tomorrow and I know Fred needs insulin so I will go at least to the drug store. Oh, and on the getting-back-to-normal front, Fred is planning a grocery shopping trip next week! He asked me to go with him because he is not sure if he will be able to do the whole thing alone, but he is definitely thinking of it…
Until later…
that’s great news about him going to the store. I know you hate grocery shopping.

I loathe going to the grocery store too. You know, Richard Dean Anderson was also on General Hospital for a long time. He is a nice looking man. I think Richard Gere is one who gets better looking as he ages too.

It’s easier to watch a show when there’s a good looking star!

it is great for Fred to want to grocery shop!!!! … spouse does all the grocery shopping for both of our houses….. 🙂

I’m so proud of Fred, and you sound a lot more relaxed now that he’s getting back to normal.

I remember MacGeyver. I used to watch that show a lot. He always found a way to get himself out of any situation. He could get himself out of trouble using a piece of gum, and a hair pin. Okay, and the fact that he is so nice looking helps too. Take care.

good for Fred, it sounds like he is doing better. I agree Richard Dean Anderson is a very good looking man. 🙂

Warm and toasty 20 degrees? Brrrrr! Things are really getting back to normal for you and Fred. Hurray!

Brillant to read about Fred, improving every day. Best Wishes

I’m all for giving ourselves another chance to start “tomorrow,” too. Few days are total wastes, and tomorrow always does come! Whatever walking you don’t do now, you will more than make up for when the weather gets nicer! Then you can be outdoors and really enjoy the walking! Wishing you a good day! hugs, Weesprite

I hope you get your walk in today.

I used to pretend I was related to Richard Dean Anderson…same last name and all…I’d say he was my long long uncle or something.

I hate grocery shopping, too! Ray and I always go together so he can listen to me complain about it the whole time. Take care.

I don’t know if Vermont has electric carts at the grocery store but that is what I have been doing since I broke my foot. I saves me walking all around the store and paying for it later.

I used to be “in love” with Richard Dean anderson when he played Jeff on General Hospital. That was in 1979 – 1982 OMG! I’m old! :-)) RYN: I had a massage last Sunday. While it was very therapeutic for my knotted back muscles, it hardly compares to the gentle touch of a loving man. *sigh* Oh well, such is life I guess.

Sounds like he’s making great progress…. stay safe and warm this weekend in the snow! 🙂
Warning Comment
I bet he’ll be glad to get out of the house too

It is good to hear that things are getting back to normal and am sure that pleases both you and Fred.
