New Toy!

Newest toy!

 This is an IGroove  IPod player which allows one to charge and play the Ipod at the same time. Those wing-like things at the side are speakers. I bought it to be able to listen to my music in my new art room when we move but of course, it is plugged in and playing right now! And, look! That triangular thing is a remote!   {I am SO easily amused! }

And there is also an adaptor so I can also charge {and play} the music on the Shuffle, too. I am not sure I will want to play that music because it is all "walking briskly" music, but it will be helpful to be able to charge the Shuffle another place besides the laptop.

I am amused at myself in that Fred and I have been telling ourselves we need to tighten our belts with the rent on the downstairs apartment being so much money, and then I go and get this! However, this, of course, comes out of MY money rather than OUR money! But since I was at Costco this morning buying this toy, I did buy another set of queen-sized flannel sheets since the last time we checked there was every size flannel sheets {and we use them all year} except queen size! I paid for these with my debit card but I will go on line in a few minutes and transfer the cost from our account to my account. {I online banking!}

Fred has just cooked a pan of mixed sweet and hot sausages and they smelled fantastic! So, I snagged one of the sweet ones and made myself a sandwich which is sitting very comfortably in my stomach! In a few minutes, I am going to remove myself and my new toy into the bedroom, prop myself up on the bed with my back supporter and read Janet Evanovitch’s newest Stephanie Plum book and listen to music! I can do this because I have virtuously washed dishes and been for my 30 minute walk!

You reading Eleven on Top? I’m halfway through. I love Stephanie Plum (and my husband does too–he approves of all the lustiness among the characters).

That is REALLY neat!

Great, have fun with your new toy! Yes, you are virtuous. Straighten your halo!

I saw this toy today while I was shopping for my ipod, etc.! I decided in my case the ihome made sense because it will replace my clock radio and can just sit on my night table. Wonderful stuff available now. Mind boggling!! my nano is teensy and holds up to 1000 songs. that is something i just can’t understand at all!!

We saw an iPod accessory place in one of the malls around here!! My goodness, the iPod industry has taken on a life of its own! I got mine free with my Mac laptop – the campus bookstore was pushing them hard in November of last year – I had no idea what an iPod was but chose a flashy pink one:)) Now I just love it when walking alone or stationary biking!!! Enjoy the vibes:) Vista Way

That is cool. I am going to have to send my iPod Back with $59 because it’s clear that the battery is no longer functioning or responding to recharging.

Oooooh… shiny thing 😛 Sounds like a good investment – I don’t have an ipod but I have a little cd player in my craftroom that can play mp3s and I use it so much! (huggles)
