Much Better This Morning!

I am better, MUCH better today! Last night Fred and his daughter and their family went out to eat at a new place {for us.} I opted to stay home because, although I was feeling much better by then, I wasn’t totally sure if leaving the safety of my own bathroom would be a Good Thing. And I was going to cancel my massage for today but I felt so much better last night I didn’t. I ate two slices of bread and a banana yesterday all day.

Right now I am sitting in my art room typing away and E., Fred’s 17 year old granddaughter, is at my art table painting away! She is in her first year of art school and is really enjoying it. She has only just started this year but brought her portfolio with her to show me some things she has been doing. Right now she is painting a jalapeno pepper in different lights at different times of the day!

I just got a package from Amazon which contained {NO! NOT the text book–I finally gave up on them for that and have it ordered at alibris.com} a really nice easy Italian reader and a book of Italian verbs in all their conjugated glory! I have to say here that I really like conjugating verbs in English and I have no doubt that I will feel the same about Italian verbs! I know, I am weird! There is just something about the orderly way of doing a conjugation that pleases me.

Today I have to:

  • find my still life that I did over the summer and pretend I did it this weekend. No, actually I am not going to lie about it!  In fact, Pam knows I did it over the summer but I am going to touch it up. Pam also knows that these Italian classes are taking up a lot of my time.
  • go for a massage this afternoon.
  • get Fred to put anti-itch cream where I have been bitten in a lot of places by something! {If there is a mosquito or a flea in the area, it will head for me! And they always bite me in the middle of my back where I can’t reach the itch!}
  • go over my Italian homework  {you know, the homework I busted my butt over because I thought it was due Tuesday } because I now know that in a couple of places I put the word for cardinal number when it should have been the ordinal… Actually, I may do this on Monday afternoon after art class since it is not due until Tuesday.

Until later….

I’m so glad you are feeling better today, too! And I also enjoyed conjugating verbs when I studied languages….and also I LOVED diagraming sentences in junior high English class! Though I don’t even think that is taught in schools nowadays…. hugs, Weesprite

LOL@ loving verbs. I never thought of it that way. Glad you’re feeling much better today. I wonder if Fred’s granddaughter would let you share her art with us.

Enjoy your massage and your day of health! And LOL at enjoying the conjugation of verbs. That and diagramming sentences were the most horrid memory I have of grammar classes when I was young. I’m glad you enjoy them though.

So glad that you are feeling better. I too chuckle over the conjugating verbs and the memories it brings back.

Very glad to hear that you’re doing better today. And thank you for the note.

I’m glad you’re feeling better!! RYN: I mean, stirrup pants can be great for layering under things for, say, extended stays outdoors in the cold in the North East. But under tunic shirts? For school wear? YUK. Plus, it makes me feel older than I am, because it’s giving me flashbacks to middle school fashion errors of my own.

RYN: I wish I could add dollars too, but it would make the payment system over-complicated. I might put in a link to a currency conversion site instead.

I’m glad your feeling better! <3 Annie-Rae
