If you had thought there was another entry here, you were correct. I made it private. If you missed it, it was another I-hate-my-life-as-it-is-now entry. There is nothing to be gained by complaining in public. Although I do appreciate the notes of the people who found it before it was banished into exterior darkness!

A total change of subject. I mentioned a while ago that I had finally got someone to replace my router and that everything was running well, right? The guy that did this said give him a call in a week or so if I was happy with it and he would  give me a bill. So, I called him and left two messages all at different times. Yesterday, I got really irritated and my message basically said that if he didn’t want me to pay him, that was fine with me but I needed someone to come and put a password on this router because I had a feeling that everyone on the street and people driving by were using my signal! {Of course, I was exaggerating just a bit!}  Anyway, someone, not the original guy who is actually the owner of the business, I think, came round yesterday and not only put the password into use, but made sure all the computers and the Kindle Fire, could find the connection. Oh, and he brought a bill which I paid. One thing that I had noticed was that it took forever to load a movie onto the Fire before I had a password put on it. Now, loading a movie is almost instantaneous…

One way in which the Fire is different from the Kindle I use for reading is that the Fire screen is back lighted. I really didn’t think it could be true that to read from a back lighted screen was more tiring than reading from a non-back lighted screen but, at least for me, it is definitely true. When I read on the Fire, my vision gets blurry very quickly. One thing I am enjoying about the Fire is that there are a huge number of movies I can download from Amazon free since I am a Prime member. A day or so ago I watched "Fahrenheit 451" and last night I started watching "Babe." I am intensely irritated by the commercials when I am watching movies on television so it is nice to be able to see these on the Fire. And if it is something I feel I want to buy, I can also buy them!

I am tired. It seems these days I am always tired. Fred is feeling worried and "down" these last few days and am letting myself be dragged down by his feelings…

you are up early this morning. sorry you couldn’t sleep. i wonder if my sisters who have the original kindle will be getting the kindle fire? have to ask them when i talk to them next. you and fred have been apart for so long, it’s no wonder you both are feeling down about things. prayers that he gets better enough so he can go home and that you two can be back together again. take care,

I was curious aboout the Kindle Fire but I knew I wouldn’t read from it. Any other advantages to it besides movies?

I saw that you had privatized that entry, but the title made me worry about you. I’m glad that you seem to be okay. Do you do anything on the Fire besides books and movies? Does it do apps like the iPad, which I’m not even sure what it does? The techno-geeks in BNI all have them, but I’m not sure what they even use them for.

I did see the worrisome title of the entry you put on private. Hopefully, you are feeling much better now. It seems so.
