More Moving Stuff

A really weird thing happened a few minutes ago. I could read my favorites quite easily but was not able to leave a single note! This was infuriating because although I am not the note-leaver par excellence,  today I had a couple of things I wanted to say! Anyway, I rebooted my computer and all is now well. Notes have been left!

Later this afternoon, we are going out to the local U-Haul place to look at boxes. What *I* am hoping is that we will actually get some of these boxes! Fred is still thinking about this stuff. On the other hand, I have already gone swiftly through the thinking-about-it stage and am well into the for-goodness-sake-let’s-get-STARTED stage! We have also got three small appliances to take down to the local recycle place. Two of them don’t work and the third doesn’t work well, but this place will take stuff and repair it if it is repairable. I don’t know if we are going to tackle this and the boxes today. I really need Fred with me to get the boxes because he is good at estimating sizes and I am hopeless. So, if we can only do one, I vote for the boxes. I can take the appliances to the recycle place myself maybe tomorrow. Oh, and the two big bags of Fred’s shoes were picked up by a Freecycle person when he said he would. I really love it when people do that.

Ok, before we meet with new landlord this evening, I need to dig out my copy of the old lease and my list of things we want to specifically mention to him.
