Monday

Several times today I have tried to get into my diary, typed my nickname and my password, hit enter and been unceremoniously been dumped into the front page of free open diary! Very annoying. Anyway, here I am on my laptop lying on the bed half watching reruns of StarGate; SG1 and trying to get caught up with everyone.

Today I have done the following:

  1. Stripped the beds and washed the sheets and remade the bed with clean sheets.
  2. Washed, dried, and put away two  loads of clothes.
  3. Made arrangements to meet Robin, the adult student with disabilities at the library at 1 pm  tomorrow– AND I am going to get paid to tutor her once a week! This is good because I have been doing it for nothing so far…
  4. Went for a 30 minute walk outside.
  5. Put ingredients in the bread maker and took out a loaf 3 hours and 50 minutes later. Unfortunately, I forgot to take out the paddle after the last knead so it is a loaf with part of the bottom crust torn out but that doesn’t alter the taste!
  6. Washed dishes, wiped the stove and mopped the kitchen floor.

    Fred got a package in the mail today which turned out to be something he had got for me. He told me I could open it before Valentine’s Day if I wanted to. I said I would like to wait. After a while, he said, “Well, we are adults. We can open our presents before Christmas and Valentine’s Day.” Now, this made me chuckle because it is children who want to open presents early and adults who can postpone gratification! Anyway, since he obviously wanted me to open it right then, I did. He had got me a really cute necklace with a red heart and matching earrings.They are very pretty and I liked them a lot.

I am still thinking about the 10 objects… {Go back to the entry before this one…}

Until later…

I never get anything good for V-Day. 🙁

That always happen’s to me when I log on, I thought that’s how it was supposed to be!

Isn’t that funny? Elmer can’t STAND waiting if he doesn’t have to. I, on the other hand, love the suspense.

Besides being an excellent oatmeal chef, Fred sounds like he has a heart as big as yours.

That is so sweet. You must have yourself a wonderful man there. I can never keep surprises either. Take care, and have a wonderful day.
