Lost & Then Found!*
- OK, this is driving me INSANE! I have all the DVDs of "House" and I finally got round to buying the last one which is season 8. So, I watch all the ones I have in preparation for watching season 8. But I can’t find season 7 ANYWHERE! I checked on Amazon, and, yes, I DID buy it. It has a yellow cover and I remember that. I have a vivid recollection of the last episode but the rest have disappeared from my memory. I would be willing to bet money it is somewhere in this art room because for a long time I watched movies on this big IMac screen. But. I can’t find it! Oh, well, I will plod onwards. Being positive, I DID find the missing disc from "The West Wing." In my head I can hear my Auntie Babs telling me that if that is all I have to worry about, I have a very good life! Y’know, I only lived with her for school holidays from ages 14 to 16 {It was a boarding school} and she has had a huge influence on my life!
- Ever since I went to the bereavement group meeting, I have had difficulty in falling asleep. Last night I finally fell asleep about 3 am and got up at 9:30 this morning. I need to get back to being asleep by 11 pm and up at 6 am which suits me much better. I am going to try to get to bed by 9 pm tonight with the hope I can be asleep by 11 pm.
- I took a break from writing to continue with sorting out stuff here in the art room and was rewarded by finding "House" Season 8! It was neatly tucked inside a pile of books that need to go in a bag for Freecycle. I am so glad I went through them and didn’t just pick up the stack and put them in the bag!

Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}
you found season 7 or season 8? it sounds like you found 7. sometimes if you just relax you’ll find what you are looking for. wonder why you’ve had trouble sleeping since you attended that group. take care,

Gosh, I am sorry the bereavement group meeting has messed up your sleeping so much! That doesn’t seem very helpful! I hope you will soon be able to get back to a sleep schedule that suits you better. Someone used to tell me the same thing….”if that’s the worst thing that ever happens to you, you’ll be lucky!”….but I don’t remember who said it. I do know that sometimes we really LIKE to fuss about our small problems, though! hugs, Nicky

Funny how the little things make us all crazy. Big problems aren’t as horrible in scale, but let me mislay my keys, and oh goodness! It’s like a dam has broken and the floodwaters are coming…

We were missing a one of our discs of The big bang theory. We think that my husband left it in the DVD player when we took it back to Costco because it had stopped working. We ended up buying the whole season again, just so we could have that one disc! Glad you found yours:) Try taking a warm bath before bed…it is suppose to relax you. Those groups always made me feel worse, instead of better.
