Just a Short Entry

Time: 9:30 am

Energy Level: Pretty good

Positives for the day:

  • I slept amazingly well last night
  • It is not snowing

Physically I feel: Some pain but it is manageable

Mentally I feel: A bit apprehensive at the thought ot MORE company this weekend! {I could easily be a hermit}

I am quite pleased with myself in that I am slowly {very slowly} getting this workroom a bit more organized. Yesterday I got all piles of paper off the floor and sorted. It was interesting that most of them went into the recycle bag! Today I am not setting goals, per se  as to what I will do in this room, but I am going to do a bit. I may even sweep and mop the floor since it is now visible!

So, today:

  • drive up to the drug store and get my pills
  • get Fred to move his car out from behind mine so I can go!
  • clean the bathroom floor and dust-mop the other floors
  • load yesterday’s few dishes into the dishwasher. Because we ate out last night, there were so few dishes that I just left them in the sink.
  • continue work on the piles of stuff in the workroom. What I particularly have my eye on is the desk drawer which is so full of stuff I can’t close it.
  • work a bit on homework.
  • put out trash–kitchen bag and the bags from the bathroom and the workroom. I have not only nonrecycleable stuff but a bag of paper to go out, too.

QUOTATION: Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Not raining here and it might actually be warm. Going to be a good day.

Who ever said that computers would turn us into a paerless society was so very, very wrong. With the computer it is so easy to produce more. Now computers have spawned the need for something else – shredders. One of these days I will have to really get started clean out my workroom/home office. The wife-unit won’t see me for weeks. 🙂 – – – –

I could be a hermit, too, but I’m trying to overcome that. Mostly I LIKE people, but Thorn doesn’t, so I’ve gotten used to not having them around. I want to change that.

We were in the 50s yesterday, same today and headed toward 60s for tomorrow….so hopefully NO more snow for the next 7 months or so……Have a great day, sounds like a busy one!

Sometimes I feel hermit-like and other times, I feel like a party. I do understand though. Yay for a good night’s rest.

They say that the storm will be hitting tonight, within the next couple of hours. Sigh. I am sick of rain and wind and all that.

Love the new look!

It’s strange how it goes with papers. I find in a computer world, we seem to have more paper use than before. I have no idea why. I cleaned up our computer room, yesterday. It reminded me of little projects I am supposed to do. Ugh!

Are you getting any of this nor’easter this weekend? They played it up big on the TV, but it just looks like a rainy day (from the window) here so far. None of the terrible winds predicted, but then it’s supposed to run into Monday & Tuesday. Anna
