Hair Cut and Other Things
First order of business today, I drove up to the hair place and got my hair cut. There was a new person whom I had never used before but she did a great job with my hair. I like it short but I cannot stand it to have the back cut straight across so it looks like a man’s haircut at the back. She did a great job and left the back feathery as well as short.
Next, I took my IMac into the Apple store and a tech person said that they were a bit backed up and it would be two days before someone even looked at it! At tthe expression on my face, he said this week was better than last week because last week the waiting-to-be-looked-at time was three days! So, goodness knows when I will hear anything! Fortunately, I have this little MacBook. And I DID have to give them my password. This is a password the owner, or admin person has to enter when anything needs to be added or changed. It shows up as an icon of a lock which opens itself when the password is put in.
Anyway, after the delivery of the computer, I walked across to Barnes and Nobles and browsed their books. I got some lunch and a drink and then came home. Then I spent an hour or so finishing Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett outside on the deck.
Fred fixed a hamburger and other assorted good stuff for supper and so here I am lounging on the bed and waiting to see Project Runway!
I lead a very hard life, right?

It’s always just a bit scary for me when a new beautician has to cut my hair. Although it grows back, if they do a shoddy job, it takes awhile to all grow back. I’m glad she worked out nicely for you. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised and they get your computer back quickly!

I wish I had such a hard life! 😀 Do Kindle books cost the same as dead tree books? Just curious. Nothing better than a decent haircut.

My hair is at that annoying stage where I wonder should I just let it be and keep it pinned up, or should I cut it? I think you have a great life, myself.

I’m ‘trying’ to grow out my hair, not sure I can stand it though, I’m already hating that I can’t feel cool air going through it and cooling down my head. And you worked hard all your life, you ARE entitled to take it easy now!
