Friday Evening

Well, I am writing this on Firefox because I am so irritated by
Explorer so we shall see how it does. I like the way it is so easy to
make the writing bigger.

I went to the first art class at the senior center this afternoon and
found it interesting. There are five of us -four women and a man–and
the instructor. He went over the basics of sketching with a soft pencil
and techniques of shading and I was very pleased how quickly it came
back to me. I enjoyed myself a lot.

I got home and hurried to get something to eat. Fred told me Robin had called but he couldn’t understand what she wanted. {She does
have a speech problem because her throat was crushed in the car wreck
that caused her TMI} He asked her to call me back after 3:30 and she
did so. She asked if I could come on Monday to tutor her instead of
today because her children have been out of school and with her all
afternoon and she had a bad headache. That was fine with me because I
was feeling very tired by then any way.

While Fred was out this morning, I finally got round to throwing out
two boxes of old magazines and old mail stashed by Fred’s desk.
Unfortunately, as I found out when he got back, the second box
contained some stuff he wanted to keep. It was no big thing for me to
go downstairs and get the second box out of the recycleable trash can,
but as I told him when I brought it up, it probably wasn’t a good move
to put a box full of stuff he wanted to keep right on top of a box of
stuff he wanted me to put out to recycle!

I am astonished how tired I am. Basically, I sat at a table and sketched for two hours and I am exhausted.

Tomorrow:

  • Go for two walks.
  • Make brown bread. {I had made a white loaf for Robin but we will
eat this and I will make another one for her on Sunday to give to her
    on Monday}
  • Continue with the on-going job of cleaning my stuff off the living room table.
  • Work on my sketching assignments.

Until later…

I use Firefox and Mozilla’s e-mail client, Thunderbird, and love them both. They work great and they are free!

I know that when I started that watercolours class last year, I was utterly wiped out when I got home at night, I think when we are focusing on something that requires creative skills, we can wear ourselves out faster than we think we do. But then, you are always so very busy.

Maybe you should go to the doctor, if this keeps up. I hope that all is well with you. Blessings.

Oh wow, I’d love to take an art class! Maybe I will! I think I will check into it 🙂

Do you have any iron pills in your medicine cabinet? Try one a day for a couple days and see if you are still feeling as tired all the time. There must be a reason.
