Friday
Until Fred gets another car, I am the Official Driver for this family so this morning I drove him up to see his kidney doctor. The appointment was "at the crack of dawn" which, according to Fred is what 9:30 am is! Of course, I was up at 5 am.
The news was not bad. There has been no deterioration in his kidney function and even a little improvement. Of course, realistically, there is no cure for diabetes so we take every little improvement we get as positively as we can. So, he has an appointment to go back in six months. {Reminder to self to put ithe appointment in on my computer popup calendar.}
Next, I decided I needed a nap. I didn’t plan for two hours but that is what it turned out to be! I hope it doesn’t mess up my night’s sleep.
I have been making lists! I called and made an appointment for us to talk to Bryce {new landlord.} on Monday evening and Fred will call Mike and Melanie this weekend about things we need to know like dates of moving, etc. I am going to ask if I can start moving boxes of "stuff" into the porch area…
I am SO ready to get this started…
Until later….
*HUGGS* you have been busy!

Yippee for kidney improvements, that’s a good thing. Hope you can get busy on the move soon. Just to get it out of the way and the anxiety behind you.
Warning Comment
Fred must be a little perturbed about his good ol’ car needing to be retired.

ryn… that is because she is a she. I gave birth to a daughter.
Warning Comment
ryn… it is very difficult for me to refer to her as a him. I really cant do it. Im really not too sure why. Now I understand what you were saying.
Warning Comment
RYN: I thought about that. I just hope it’s quality time rather than quantity. Preferably both.

Hoooray on the kidney improvement, that is good news. 🙂

Oh, so glad The Fred got a good report!!!! Seems like everyone I read lately is packing up and moving! Must be contagious, huh? It’s a pain, but it’s worth it in the end! Have a lovely day! Love ya! ~M

RYN:I know, but I don’t want it going on record as I wanted the divorce. I want it going on record that hes an adulturous bastard.. but I’m spiteful like that. I’m especially concerned with him taking something thats mine thats worth something and selling it if he is doing drugs. Plus there are some things, like my bed, that I will just not let him take. Period.
Warning Comment
I’m sure Fred is appreciating the good report card.
Warning Comment
a little bit at a time will be a big step in the moving.
