Exercise & Paying Off my Car

I just got back from being tortured by physical therapists and they certainly DID change around what I did. {I think I mentioned that I told Candace that I felt I was on a plateau again and she said changing the program would help with that?} Anyway, it was so changed that I could only do 30 minutes instead of the usual 45. The last exercise was the hardest. I have to step to one side making sure my foot is straight but my knee is turned out {because I am knock-kneed} and while transferring my weight, bring the other leg across so that my feet are together. Well, I can do this while putting the weight on my right leg and I did manage to do ten sideways steps but putting the full weight on my left leg, the not-good leg? I managed five and then I had to stop. I have agreed to add this to my home exercises and since we have a large center table in the middle of our kitchen {and I AM allowed to hold onto something} I can do this a couple of times a day before Friday.
I have been paying two notes every month on my new Kia and saving as much as I could to pay it off. So, today I went to the Wachovia site and looked at the payoff price. Then I popped over to my account at ING where I keep my savings designated for the car and the two numbers  were VERY close. So, I transferred most of the savings account to my checking account, and wrote a check for the balance! I will continue the car account at ING but cut down on what I pay into it  a bit. Have I mentioned I LOVE ING and online banking!Every month, I have a certain amount transferred from my checking account to the various accounts I have a ING and it is painless savings.

Isn’t that a great feeling!!! I paid off my car and kept it for ten more years…no car payment was GREAT, I got a chance to save the equivalent of about eight years of car payments! (of course you have to pay for maintenance)
