Evening Thoughts

Number of steps walked today: 6354

I am absolutely exhausted. The second walk was down the hill to the library which meant up the hill to get home.

What I want to do tomorrow is to work some more in this computer/work/art room. I kind of know where most things are but I would like it to be tidier and MUCH more organized.

List of random thoughts:

  • Look at at the stuff on the bottom shelf and think about the feasability of moving the printer there. I might even have some space on my computer desk if I can get that worked out..
  • Another thing to do tomorrow is to clean out my backpack and get the stuff I dumped in my not-computer desk tidied away.
  • I had a lovely afternoon and evening reading something that wasn’t Italian.
  • La prof gave me a link to get the third book and CD for Italian II. Amazon has the first two but it is really hard to find the last one. I clicked on the link she sent but it doesn’t seem to be working. But she did include a phone number so I will try that on Monday.
  • My cost-of -living check {otherwise known as the thirteenth check} arrived into my checking account this morning. If I got this money during the year, I would just fritter it away on little things but having it arrive in a nice big lump like this once a year means I get to fritter it away on something big — like a year of prepaid massages or adding it to my Italy fund…
  • I need to get a few Christmassy things still organized. Monday for one of them.
  • I really like Lee Childs "Jack Reacher" books.
  • "Dr Who" is on the telly tonight. Can you believe I haven’t turned on the TV in the bedroom for two evenings?

Ok, I am off to rot my brain with television….

Until later….

After all that Italian, it’s more like “relax your brain”!

If we lived closer I’d love to organize your work space…I love doing that kinda thing 🙂

That’s a lot of steps! Good for you! 😀

Wow…that’s quite a leap in steps today! Good job. Sounds like you have a busy day planned tomorrow.

WOW! You’re doing great with the walking! I need to get busy and organize my craft/sewing room. Guess it will wait til after Christmas though as we leave either Sunday or Monday. Hugs, M

I have been trying to reorganize rooms in this house for the past few weeks. Though I throw out there is still so much around because I buy too much.

i do the same thing…look in a room and think about what i should or could do to make it more organized, etc. – especially my office/art room. Oh, and it’s a never-ending struggle! Good luck with yours…

OH, and you walked way more than me today. i didn’t walk at all, other than to my car, etc. For one thing i was too sore from the new yoga routine of yesterday. For another thing, i was busy on a work meeting and then going to my daughter’s play, and then out to eat. Now, it’s well after midnight and i’m certainly NOT getting on my treadmill!

Has Fred found his card yet? You deserve a little tv time. I haven’t watched tv since the first day we got Comcast.

Sat Noon, the 16th. Thanks for your conciliatory note. I have left two messages on the regular HELP Msg board and a couple on his personal OD. Maybe that will help. Anyway. There are more important things to worry about…..such as world hunger, teen age pregnancy, and the ever increasing price of beer. Thanks anyway. By the way. I see you are a libray patron. to read can’t be all bad. I’m also including myself in that cliche since I have read a jillion books , more or less. Take care.

I wish I could accomplish as much as you do. I’m hoping the doctor lets me do more with my wrist after I see him on Thur. I’m sure your space is opening up & looking better daily. I can’t wait to get at my space too.

I looked in my atlas & found Lake Champlain. It’s a longer lake than I thought. I bet it’s beautiful all year long. Is it a deep lake? Does it freeze most of the winter?
