Evening Entry

The evaluation was, ummm, well, interesting. I can sum it up by saying she thinks more highly of my ability than I do. It was not the greatest evaluation I have ever had but it wasn’t bad.

I went into a kitchen gadget store called Kiss the Cook to get an oven thermometer because we think our oven temperature gauge is not accurate. So, I got one but in addition, I got myself a tea-for-one–a pot and a cup that fit together–in  an interesting orangey-pumpkin shade. This makes the third one I have; Hmmm, do you think I might be starting a collection? Nah! I am not the collector. That was my sister.

As I was walking back to the car park, I wasn’t watching where I put my foot and I had a small stumble and wrenched my hip.I was doing very well with minimal limping and now I am hopping around in pain. Oh, well, hopefully it will be better after a night’s rest.

Fred went grocery shopping this afternoon and so now we have got the necessities of life like eggs and milk, I will make yogurt tomorrow.
