Entry Two

The first thing I did this morning was to see if my Mac had updated the time or was this something I needed to do? Nope, there is was — telling the same time as my watch. Fred put the clock in the bedroom back before he came to bed and I did the coffee pot when I made coffee. I will do the stove when I go back there for coffee and I will change the one on the wall in this room before I go for coffee. The other clock, the one that has bird calls, I will leave to Fred. If one does as I would do, which is merely to move the hands back an hour, the bird songs at each hour are all wrong!

The second thing I did this morning was to sort out the big bowl of Hallowe’en candy and put each of the different kinds back in the original bags. if the red bowl is sitting out there loaded up with Snickers and Tootsy Rolls, I eat too many of them. If they are out of sight,and especially if they are frozen AND out of sight, I can manage perfectly well with two.

We went up to the diner last night. I really don’t know why we even bother to look at the menu since we go so often and we know it by heart! Well, they do have daily specials which we occasionally choose. But last night, I had a chiliburger. I can’t remember what Fred has except it was something with gravy! {I don’t like gravy very much. I don’t actively hate it the way I do boiled cabbage, but if I have a choice, I prefer no gravy.}

Today I was going to wash clothes but I think I will leave it until tomorrow. I keep forgetting it is the weekend until I hear the landlord moving around upstairs after the time when, on weekdays, I normally hear him clomping down the stairs on his way to work. I like to give him the option of washing his clothes at the weekend although I am pretty sure he does them late at night since I have heard the washing machine chugging away then.

Until later…

I better go check the clocks or I’ll be WAY early for church!

Enjoy your Sunday! It’s nice of you to try to plan doing your laundry around your landlord’s schedule… being considerate like that, makes for good neighbors!

I got two clocks changed. We have too many clocks! Yes, freezing the candy is a good idea.

I love sweets! I’d just sit there and eat the whole bowl if I were you. Leftover candy!

oh….so now I know why the bird clock we used to have, had the wrong birds singing on each hour! :oO !! You have a lot of clocks to set back. We only have three….hmmmm….unless we’ve forgotten a few! Mmmmm, I am like Fred. I LOVE most ANYthing with gravy on it. I’d rather have something-with-gravy than sweets! hugs, Weesprite

I hate boiled cabbage…especially cabbage rolls…those are truly disgusting. I love gravy though.
