Counting Down

One more day and then we are out of here!

There is one plug in our bathroom. During the day, my electric toothbrush is plugged into it. It is my job in the evening to unplug the toothbrush and plug in the nightlight. So, this evening, I reach to the top shelf to the box where I usually put it, and guess what? Yes, you are correct. I had packed it!

Fred was Wonder-Packer today! Between us we got a lot done before it got too hot to continue. Still left to pack is all the dishes and a few things on the food shelves. We will empty the refrigerator and the freezer on Saturday and put them in the downstairs refrigerator and freezer. We have already decided we are going out to eat Friday. Sunday I will vacuum and clean this apartment and, if necessary, finish it on Monday since our rent is paid until the end of the month.

Our cool weather has gone and we are back to the draining muggy heat….
