Class Today

• I am the first person to give her oral report next Tuesday. No, I didn’t ask for it. La prof volunteered me–  but I don’t mind at all.
• Next Thursday we have to have our five-page paper in English done. I am not panicking although I haven’t started putting words on paper yet. I do a lot of prewriting in my head.
• Next week is the last week of class.
• Our folders are to be inspected! Sheesh, does that mean I have to put all the papers I have in a manilla envelope into the correct part of the folders? Indeed it does!
• Francisco told me today that he is taking Italian II next semester and I am fairly sure Michaela is. So, only three more needed to sign up! I will be SO disappointed if the class doesn’t make…
• We did a translation this morning that, at first glance, looked difficult but we were all pleasantly surprised to find out how much we know.
• the last two grammar assignments are for extra credit if we choose to do them. Francisco ratted me out to the class by saying I was doing them when he came in! {I can’t help it if I LIKE grammar! }
• The test wasn’t too difficult but I know I did guess at three. However, for one of them, I got that little "Yes!" feeling you get when you guess and then know you are right!
• I am going to goof off today Italianwise and stick the nose to the grindstone tomorrow!
