Bullets

Random thoughts:

  • Last night Fred and I pigged out on a very good pizza. It was a Frescetta with what I think they call a self-rising crust. Anyway, it was delicious and I ate far more than I needed to.
  • I didn’t walk on the treadmill yesterday but I did walk up and down the basement steps six times.
  • Thinking about the treadmill, my problem now is where am I going to move it to when it is time to put the Christmas tree up. It is now sitting in the Christmas tree’s corner!
  • I have a massage today. It is raining but I have no problem driving in the rain as long as there is no ice.
  • Before I go for the massage, I MUST get gas. The gauge is showing that I am down to the last quarter and I always prefer to fill up when it reached the half-way mark.
  • A lot of people are writing about collections. I don’t collect anything except, maybe, books. Well, even that was before Kindle moved in, of course.
  • When I was teaching, my students kept giving me candlesticks so I do have a few of those.
  • My sister was the collector. She had a HUGE collection of Micky Mouse things. People who collect are easy to buy for. I once made her Christmas by buying Micky earrings on EBay!
  • I just burned my toast and had to shut the smoke alarm off!
  • Izzy, the dog upstairs, has a friend over! Actually it is the black labrador belonging to the landlord’s girlfriend. I saw the two dogs and B. outside in the yard this morning. The labrador is very young –although out of the tiny puppy stage — and runs around a lot!
  • On with the day…

I have a tiny table top Christmas tree I bought years ago that is fully decorated. I put it on our fireplace. My kids loved it when they were small. But three trees is a bit much now. Maybe you could go that route. It would fit in a small corner on a table too.

ryn-I suspect that IS how M feels. Or, she doesn’t know what to say or how to behave toward V. Both, maybe.

Six times up and down the basement steps! Oh, my! Hmm, the pizza sounds good. I may get one. Let them eat pizza!

I feel more collected by collections, than vice versa. Need to cut umbilicals.
