Brief Update
The problem about growing one’s hair is that eventually, the bangs {this would be the fringe for those residing in the UK } get too long. Mine are at that point now. If they irritate me enough, I am liable to rush out and get my hair cut super short again. I would like to have a different style which is why I am growing it! So, I think I will take my sissors and just snip about a quarter of an inch in front off them.
I just came back in from cleaning the snow off Fred’s car because we have big grocery-store plans. I have to go to the bank {a branch of which is in the store we go to} to get money for Beth for Sunday, which is when my massage is this week. However, the forecast for Sunday is heavy snow so I may have to cancel my massage. We shall see. Anyway, we need to get all the usual stuff plus I really want some Branston pickle and possibly some more Seville {bitter} orange marmalade. And, maybe a poinsettia? A lot depends on the price. Today it is sunny and around 34 right now. When I went out to move my car {which is behind Fred’s which is why I have to move it} there were light flakes of snow falling but it has stopped now.

Lucky you! We’re having a blizzard today. And I get to drive in it! LOL!

I hate bangs. I wear glasses and I feel that with bangs (wonder where that word came from?), more than 1/2 my face is covered. I am glad that they sweep back and wave over the sides rather than fall into my face. I’m changing my hairstyle lately also… We’re getting our snow tomorrow – about 6 inches.

I could never grow my fringe out – I HATE having hair in my eyes! I did grow the sides out though – I had them short for years but the hairdresser told me off, and I stopped trimming them. It took about six months for them to get long enough not to look a little strange. (huggles)

Branston pickle???? Never heard of them. I’ve been craving dill pickles so much that E asked if I was pregnant. LOL Lord, I hope not!!!!! I know what you mean about growning your hair out. I have tried for about 2 yrs now to let my bangs grow out enough to be able to style them different. I always get frustrated when they get to a certain point and start clipping. Guess I’ll never get that ” new look ” at this rate. LOL Hope you can make it to your massage on Sunday!!! Hugs,M

so the question is, do you still have a British accent or have you acquire and American one along with the vocab? I always wondered what bangs were…I always imagined them being pigtails like those of Pipilangstrumpf.

I didn’t realise until reading your notes that so many people have bangs issues. Don’t cut too much off. That tends to happen when you have to even things out a little here, then a little there… What style are you aiming for?

I try and try to grow my hair out a bit and then get aggravated with it and get it all chopped off! We’re having warmer weather now, too, so I am hoping to get some other things done while it’s here, because it’s sure not to last!

My hair doesn’t grow very fast, and that’s good cuz I don’t feel like spending money to get it cut very often! :oO !! I do get annoyed by bangs that are too long, though. I hope the snow this weekend doesn’t make you have to postpone your massage! And right now I am really hoping that snow doesn’t interfere any with our plans to go to Detroit for Christmas!! hugs, Weesprite

I always wanted long hair but when I tried to grow it it got very bushy. My hair is curly so it’s easiest when it’s short.

I have my hair cut every seven or eight weeks, but my fringe never lasts that long before it starts to irritate me, so I just chop at it myself!
