Boxes
Step one in the moving process has happened. Three men with a plethora of boxes took four and a half hours to pack up everything except the furniture in this apartment. Tomorrow they will come back about 10 am and load the furniture and all the boxes into the moving van. At about 9 am the car will go to be delivered to my new apartment in NC..
You cannot believe how relieved I am. I have been unbelievably stressed these past days trying to get everything in order. I will sleep well tonight since the last two nights I have only had about three hours sleep each night. On Thursday I will have nothing to do except pack my bags—oh, and get all this trash out to the bins. At 6 this morning I was at the grocery store getting a couple of cans of soup and some fruit to keep myself alive on the days I have left before I fly away on Friday back to NC.
Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.
Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) English Poet
Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.
– Oscar Wilde
Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}
You are hanging in there and things are gettting done…one by one. I admire your courage.
