Boob Squish and Other Stuff

I went for my mammogram early this afternoon, but, I mean what can you say about a boob squish except it is a boob squish? Mind you, it was kind of interesting to see the boobs up there on the computer screen looking like big balloons! And of course, it can be pretty damn painful to have BIG boobs squished! Actually, I really didn’t notice the pain at the time because the tech and I were having a pretty interesting discussion about the meanings of last names… But once she was finished, oh, yes, I was well aware I had been squished!

After that, I drove to Church St Marketplace, parked in the two-free-hours parking garage , and proceeded to Brueggers bagels to eat a late and big lunch. Then I walked to the top of the marketplace, found the road I was looking for and found the engravers. The necklace will be ready by Monday afternoon–so, another trip to the marketplace.

I walked up and down a lot and bought nothing I needed and a quarter of a pound of chocolate-covered almonds which I didn’t need.

I will be SO glad when this hip pain is fixed. I can walk slowly for about 15 minutes and then have to sit until the pain subsides…

Oh yummy! Chocolate covered almonds sound beautiful.

I had to have my boobs squished a few years ago because of a lump (it was just a cyst). It IS very uncomfortable. I’m glad you suvived your boob squish. 🙂

Hey, itty bitty … um … boobs hurt just as much when they get squished. Maybe even more because they have to try harder to get SOMETHING into the machine. Seems like it was a little easier when I had big boobs, although not any less painful.

I was always told if it hurs to have a mamogram then the tech isn’t doing her job. I have never had pain and have larger boobs. But then again maybe I am not getting the best job if it doesn’t hurt!

I don’t call it painful (and I have large breasts, too), but uncomfortable. I hate the standing in the machine almost as much as the squishing. I hope everything checks out okay.

I’ve never had a mammogram. Once I found out that they hurt I’ve been in avoidance mode. Yup.
