 We have a dishwasher that works! After all the work was done, I loaded up the dishes {including the ones I washed by hand this morning} and let the machine do its thing.

Today has been cool and sunny. When Fred and I went out to eat this evening, we both wore long-sleevd light sweaters.

Some how I managed to miss lunch entirely today. So when we went out to eat, I had a strawberry sundae for dessert! {Do you know the easy way to keep the spellings of desert and dessert straight in your mind? DeSSert is Strawberry Sundae!}

I managed to find some software for the Mac for playing Scrabble. It is MacSoft’s Scrabble and is a pretty nice game. However. one annoying thing. I like to have games on full-screen size and if I walk away from this one, after a while, it reverts to its smaller size and I have to go into the options to get back the full screen size. And also it is annoying that there is a keyboard shortcut to make it go from large to small but it is not a toggle!

I gave the bathroom a good cleaning this morning. it looks and smells nice.

Tomorrow I have to preregister for the MRI that the otphtalmologist wants me to have on Friday.

I am reading a very odd but interesting mystery on the Kindle. It is called Spirit House: A Vince Calvino Crime Novel by Christoper G. Moore. It was one of Amazon’s free books and I am so intrigued by it that I have already downloaded {and paid for} Moore’s second book.

And now I am off to bed to put the Kindle font up to its largest, take off my glasses and read in comfort!
