• This morning I got email from my dentist to remind me I have an appointment next week and there was a "confirm" button. I was most impressed! It has only taken him ten years to use email!
• I had my hair cut this morning. The stylist I prefer, Sheila, was doing a perm so I decided not to wait for her. Emily did an OK job but not as good as Sheila does. Emily cut the back and bangs straight across instead of feathered. I am so used to not having to tell Sheila what I want that I didn’t tell Emily! Oh, well, it doesn’t look too bad and it will grow out. What I should have done was go into the back area and ask Sheila how long she would be…
• I find myself thinking that Sheila is a name one doesn’t often hear these days.
• I just realized that I didn’t have my morning cup of coffee when I got Fred’s. {Short pause to get coffee.} I was very nervous that my stomach was going to reject coffee when I had the first one since the gastritis but I am tolerating one cup a day very well. The rest of the day I either drink water or tea.
• This week I am going to K.’s house for art on Wednesday instead of Thursday. We are going to spend some of the time going to a gallery showing fabric art. Then in the second hour, I plan to work on a pair of sandals for a book group friend. They are white leather and I haven’t worked on leather before. I asked her if she had any preferences in color and she said not. This means she will have my colors-of-choice which are red, orange, purple and gold and possibly a touch of turquoise and black! I am thinking stripes and spots.
• I am loving the weather these days. But I believe that we are forecast for cold weather by the end of the week.
