I got an A + and she wrote " Beautiful delicate shading. Nice ellipses. Very complete and finished."I am SO pleased! So, I have one A minus {where I shaded when I shouldn’t!} a couple of A’s and two A pluses. I got an A plus on the second quiz because she gave us a bonus and I got it correct.

Today we worked on perspective with one vanishing point. I have always been able to manage perspective pretty well but it was interesting to go over all the details  again. We drew houses made from two inch squares with two below the horizon and the vanishing point and one a little above it. I was sitting next to a young man named Francis who really seemed to have the perspective thing down very well so when I got stuck, {I was trying to construct a chimney} I asked him. He didn’t seem to mind helping me at all but then I did lend him my pencils and kneaded eraser the first day when he came without any supplies…
