Another Brief Update*

EDIT: I called the body shop and the part for my car hadn’t arrived yet. So, I guess it will be finished tomorrow?At the end of last summer, my annuals died but I didn’t take the debris out of the boxes or baskets. Then came winter freezing the soil solid so, of course, I didn’t even try to take the dead plants out. However, this morning, it rained and I went out there with my gardening tools and very easily removed all the debris from the soft soil. So now I have four balcony boxes. one half barrel and two hanging baskets to refill. If I had my own car back, I would be off this afternoon buying impatiens but I don’t want to load soil and plants into the little rental car.

And talking of cars, I called the body shop to ask when my car would be ready and was told that the grill they ordered turned out to be the wrong one. The man I spoke to said he had reordered it with overnight delivery and hoped it would be in today. If it is, there is a good chance I will get my car back today as I was originally promised. If not, it will be tomorrow. {Boo! Hiss!} So, I will be calling them again at 1 pm and hoping for good news!

Ok, I am off to read some more of the Michael Connelly book on the Kindle.

Body shops are always so irritatingly slow to fix cars. It never seems like it should take as long as it does.
